You shouldn't bang a game 2 hours after you post a message. That is just bad taste.
I just woke up. What if i wanted to play any of those games? I'm already 4 hours late for their bangs.

in a low turn game it does not make as much of a difference as an unlim and look i banged 3 turn games

It takes time to plan for a game, examine the edits, figure out tactics and strategy to use. Also it takes time to get a corp together. Just trying to get the Multi-Chat in ICQ working last night was a big chore for the Black Sun Trader's Shootout game we only got 3 of the 4 members in the chat.

Also it is good to know exactly when Extern runs, last night it ran at 10PM CST on Black Sun and repoed our Corp Trader. It seems like it got one of your ships too, so see how lack of information can hurt players? I also heard that someone else got confused over the time Extern ran and got himself murdered at the underground in that game, thinking his bad password attempts got reset.

Remember that not everyone will be awake or away from their jobs, college, etc when you post the game bangs 2 hours before the bang. Yeah I know, you snooze and you lose, but as I said it takes time to plan for a game. Without planning the game gets sloppy and uncertain and mistakes are easier to make. So it is just a suggestion to give at least 12 or 24 hours notice for some common courtesy for players who aren't awake or at home or reading the forums 24 hours a day.
