I would like to make an anouncement about my server running at Last Outlaw Saloon...

The game running before I banged it here a few days ago (Game A) had some slander basically against my faith in Jesus Christ. I looked at the high scores tonight (New Game A) and I see that someone has already made it clear that they want to use the name "DEMON" (Being it is in capital letters, and they obviously wanted me to see it). One of the things I ask is that you keep your names respectable. I don't preach my religion to you and I have nothing against you, but please use "good" names. Yes, I know my basis of my website is toward a Christian belief, but please don't "slander" it. I don't know if they were refered to my games by this board (it's hard to tell) but if it happens again, I will block IP's. It might be all in fun in games in using names such as "DEMON", but I take things like that very seriously. As of right now, I will just change the name, but if I have people continuing to use such names as this, I will block IP's. I am not trying to be mean, but one of my rules at my server is that you repect my server and what it stands for, and that you have respect for me. I will give the same respect as well.

I feel that people should definately respect any rules you have with your server. I just thought I'd let you know though that I doubt that the nick "DEMON" was a personal towards you in any way. I have seen that person (all capitals) on several servers in the past. I think he should honor your rules, but I doubt he was trying to purposely upset you by using that name.

I agree with Harley, I have played with DEMON in the past and he is a pretty decent player and if you look he also posts regularly in these forums under the same name, I doubt he had any intentions on trying to pull a fast one on you. One thing to keep in mind is that there are a lot of people, like myself, that dont even look at web sites or care whats on them. I realize for most of your games you need to go to your web site but if you ever posted a connect address for a game without requiring them to go look at your site to get it then your asking for all to come regardless of what they call themselves. They may not know of your faith or your rules to be able to respect them. I have been to your site and checked it out, it is plainly obvious what its about, either way I would not have made any assumptions about someones name without talking to them about it. Just something to think about.

I am very sorry outlaw if I have dirsrespected you in any way. I have gone by the name DEMON since the early 90's. It is just something that I have used and have not changed it. I did not mean it in a bad way. If you would you can change the name to Dragon, or Iggy. Just so you know it is game B not A. Really enjoy your server. Did not notice the site was set up as a site to Jesus till today when I actually went to it. If you attach to your site through TWX or SWATH you only go into the game server site and do not actually see your webpage. The reason my name is in CAPS is cause when I started playing I only typed in CAPS so everything was in caps. If you look in any of my other games or on this site you will see it is all CAPS. Thanks Shorty I appreciate what you said about me. Outlaw if you would could you just change it to DRAGON. In caps if that is ok. And I did not mean any trouble, trust me.

Thanks for the reply Demon. No, I did mean anything by my post. I just was a little disturbed that all when I seen your login/game name. Thanks for playing at my server. I like all the players I can get. I will leave your name as it is. I appreciate the prompt reply which shows me what type of person you are. Again, thanks for playing at my server... Hope you have fun. BTW: I haven't updated it lately, but check the website often for news updates. I haven't had a chance to update since my other computer (My workstation, now I am using the server computer and don't like to, but soon my laptop will be here <Tomorrow, YIPPY> and I will be wireless so I can make the changes from wherever....[:)]) went down. My workstation should be here tomorrow as well so I can't stop making this darn server so unstable all the time. I normally never have to reboot it, but since I have been using as my main computer, I have to do it at least twice a day, and that really screws my players up. SOrry for the inconvience it has caused. But soon I will be back to normal.

Does no one else see the irony in someone named "outlaw" complaining about Demon's name? HEHE... being an outlaw isn't exactly a great testimony to faith in Christ.
