I just had a player on my FB page state that he's had no trouble using Swath, TWX and Mombot on Win8 now.

Swath 1.98 & TWX 2.05 :)

Yes. I have been using this combo flawlessly until swath auth servers started denying me. Has nothing to do with win8 only swath. But I Digress, combo works great on win8!

Yeah, the Primary Server is in Pittsburg. I don't know if it was effected by the tornado or not. I understand Eje, aka Macahan is the US counterpart for Swath, is on vacation with his family, he cannot be reached while at sea. If he checks his FB page, he'll get my message. I've contacted Stein, he's aware of the problems. He's uncertain why some players cannot reach secondary server while other's can.

There is a delay, but mine eventually times out and goes to the secondary server.

Yeah, I did a screen share with one of my players. For him at least, that delay is too long for his windows 7, and windows times out. We never do get the Swath bug report alert box.

I've gotten swath going but not twx yet, still onnly have v 2.04, out looking for 2.05 now

Having trouble with twx2.05 exiting when it feels like it in windows 8.1. Sometimes will stay online for 10 or 20 mins then just exits the whole program. I set Kaspersky pure 3.0 firewall to allow twxproxy but that didn`t help. Anyone else had this problem. Also can someone upload 2.05 or newer to board. I can`t even find it anymore.

Ah, the BABE error. I created a workaround for this same error with Windows 7. I may have made it very specific for Windows 7 only. It may need to be extended. PM me your email address, and I'll shoot you a build to test. It may be a couple of days though.

Anyone else having issues with Swath.. can't get ver 1.9.8. to even open. let alone run. Just got a new rig (Asus G751 Gaming Laptop) and it's a BEAST. I have a few Anti-Virus programs running but nothing that is interrupting the operation of the program.. (even turned them off to make sure) I'm running Avast, Malwarebytes and Kaspersky. Any ideas what could be going on? I can get ZOC and TWX Proxy to run fine...

Nope, Swat 1.9.8 runs fine for me 2.0 however crashes. Other's have 2.0 working, give that one a try. Latest release on Swath.net
