I just wanted to say Thank you to ElderProphet!

TWXide is really cool, and will be a big help going forward learning TWX Proxy syntax.

With Micro's coaching I was able to make my first Mombot edit, compile and run.

# Remove Sector number from Status report - 5/11/2013, Cruncher
# send " - Sector = " $CURRENT_SECTOR "*"
# Replace with send " "My Current TA " "*"
send " - Sector = " "My Current TA " "*"

S: {} --- Status Report ---
S: - Sector = My Current TA
S: - Prompt = Citadel
S: - Turns = 10000
S: - Photons = 1
S: - Mode = General
S: - IG = NO IG
S: - Ship = 2
S: - Planet = 7
S: - Team = None
S: - Time Left = Unlimited

Hey that's great, really fantastic. Can you now contact JP, and tell him that scripting isn't so bad, that he should scrap v2, and release a v1.5!

(oh yeah. I went there  )

Naw.. I still like v2 for my noobs. Get'em hooked on the game again in a "safe" environment, then take them to the blood-bath. They come back to my server to practice and get ready to face the blood-bath once again!

"I" still need to be taught to use offensive scripts.

Thanks for hosting the June Challenge game!

Thanks! I created it to address the needs I had when writing TWX scripts, and it has been a huge help. The TWX syntax isn't always intuitive regarding which parameter comes first or second. Take stripText for example: To find the parameter order, I always had to have the script.html file open, scroll up to the top of it, and then click on the command that I needed to find the syntax. Having this capability always available on the right side of the scripting environment saves time. And having the list of variables and labels at the bottom right keeps me from using the same name twice. It also helps me ensure I haven't misspell the name. And I'm not sure if you know it, but that bottom right list provides double-click search capability. Just double-click to locate the variable or label. Double-click again to locate the next appearance.

There's probably a few bugs, and there were other features I wanted to implement, but it's always been a boon to me.

It still blows me away that Xide was only in High School when he created this language for this game.

So far I've only edited one line in Mombot, And I truly do love the color you use. I'm very visual, most people are.

It's probably going to be a while before I attempt anything from scratch, but I do appreciate the work you put into that ide. ( 18 months ago, I had no idea what ide was. )
