I just wanted to get a feel for how many people were still using it, so please have them download it from this thread so I can see the download count. It's due for a rewrite, but its a very complicated script. The download count won't necessarily affect the rewrite time frame, but it would be nice to know. |

Thank You EP. 1 Question. I think it's been asked before. when the haggle locks up and says need to counter offer manually or just hit enter to accept offer. It also suggest checking to see if it's mbbs mode or not does that normally happen if it's a brand new report i.e. never been to the port before |

It seems like the script fails to derive the correct MCIC most frequently when the port is trading at 100%. This was very rare before the decimal precision rework I did to TWX Proxy several years ago. Xide stored all script variables as strings, so math functions resulted in numerous casts from string to floats, and vice versa. I rewrote large sections of TWX so it now stores variables as strings, floats, or bools - resulting in significant speed improvements. The problem though, is that the haggle routine was written with work-arounds in place for the earlier math quirks. It needs to be rewritten without these work-arounds, and I believe the derive failures will then return to obscurity. |
