I was able to restore an old version of the site right now. When i have access to my computers late next week, i will restore most recent backup.
Give DNS 48 hours to propagate.

While the site is up, most downloads are non functional. They will all be corrected Thurs/Fri as i get access to my full backup.
TWXSync shouldn't crash anymore.

Will you be posting a version of TWXSync that doesn't crash if the site goes down?

Also will twxsync work with v2 servers if twx works with it?

I will see if i can find the time/software to remove the ping check. I am up with godaddy.com now so we should be good for a while.

I am not sure what a v2 server is? Since i wrote TWXSync and dont know what a v2 server is... i guess not :)

Thats too bad, updating your tools for twgs v2 might be a way to pay your server and updating the software costs with new licenses.

well... anyone else is welcome to do the work. i offered a long time back for someone to take over the source code. it is compiled in VC60 so you will have some upgrade work to do.

ATTAC is based on PUTTY code so the telnet stack is very strong. It runs a binary DB and also utilizes parsing threads and custom REXX intepreter.

If there is someone serious enough to do it, then it will get done. I unfortunately will not be upgrading it at this point.

I don't think anyone expects you to put so much work into something that probably would only benefit a handfull of players. Tradewars has pretty much gone into a downward spiral over the last couple of years and it looks like it's just about to crash into a "brilliant ball of fire". :P
