I've searched through swath and i've tried it through twx. Both trade scripts drop figs. unfortunately the game I'm in I started very late and the older crowd doesn't like figs laying around the universe. is there a fix for twx world trade or am I missing something for swath to not lay figs down. |

Under the one for extra command it says f1*cd <- remove that and it will only leave figs under ports.... you can remove that one too. |

You can also disable the fig drop feature in the swath script as well |

I don't know if the Edit -> Game Options -> Placing Fighters setting affects world trade, or if that's just for the place fighters command. |

WorldTrade in SWATH has a form it loads that asks you questions. "Place fighters before docking?" is one, click it off if you don't want to leave figs down on ports. I don't think it leaves figs in empty sectors. 'What type of fighters" can be Toll, Defensive, Offensive, etc. "How many to place" can be set to 0 I think if you are sure the bug lays them anyway when the tick is off on the first one. "Do not trade just explore" that is clicked on when you don't want to trade at ports but want to explore new sectors. Then WorldTrade becomes WorldExplore. "Do not avoid hostile sectors" don't really tick this on unless you got a ton of figs and can survive the sectors full of figs and mines. Check out "Edit" and then "Game Options" in the main SWATH menu bar. Click the "Fighter Policy" to kill fighters based on the type and how many. By default this is turned off and you cannot kill figs while exploring in WorldTrade and when you encounter a enemy fig in WorldTrade it just sits there. I usually use "Kill if less than 100" option myself. I hope that helps, I think the "Fighter Policy" applies to other scripts as the WorldTrade has the tick box for placing fighters. |
