Trying to find a java script that will explore, trade and focus on unexplored sectors and also favor sectors with grid figs in them. (Want to wipe them all out) I was using Vito's script and was able to make a change to the script and get it to favor unexplored sectors but was having issues (because it was written for an earlier version of tw). Would also like it to scan and report anomalies and run dead ends down.

I can use a twx script but would favor a script i can load directly from Swath

I load all of my TWX scripts from SWATH

Like Helix said, they can be loaded from SWATH. Use the $ss and enter the name of the script. You can assign scripts to your "F-keys", or to the strange little buttons with the single alpha characters on them. F-Keys are usually for attack scripts and maybe saveme.

Start in Swath Preferences/Scripts/Page 2
Setup the directory path for your TWX Scripts.
Then you can set triggers to launch TWX scripts in Swath as well as making
a macro launch TWX scripts in Swath :

Make a blank macro (use the hammer icon in Swath) :
Add Macro
Make a Trigger : (bell icon in Swath ) :
Add Trigger

Press OK to finish them up and close screens.

Press and hold key for 3 seconds to get to the macro editor.
paste : $ssSCRIPTNAME^M
into the macro .. Save and Cancel

When your ready to use it .. tap the key you set.

That is all.

I'm a Java junkie, so I'd be glad to write a SWATH scripting tutorial.

I heard there's one out there already, but I don't know where it is or if it's updated.

(I don't want to say this out loud but every time I ask for something java, i get something twx, lol)

I'm sure there are many more people using TWX... mainly because it's free, there are more (and newer) downloadable scripts for it, and writing TWX scripts is probably much easier than writing SWATH scripts, especially if you aren't already comfortable with Java.

Well, I guess I am just going to have to break down and learn how to create my own. The last 'scripts' I wrote for twar were in basic, LOL!
