This is the source for proPing with an added delay to account for synch delay that has been added to the TWGS. I have not tested this. If someone would test and make sure it works and post so others will know, I would appreciate it.

Was this 187 ms with a target ping of 150 ms? Also, can you provide a true ping as well so I can determine if the 40 ms difference is caused by TWGS or by actual network ping? If your network ping is < 150 ms but you're measuring 187 ms ping, then it'll be obvious that TWGS is off by 40 ms, which is beyond the +/- 10 ms goal I'm hoping for. |

This definitely seems to indicate there are problems with the Ping emulation. Unfortunately, I can't troubleshoot it on Ice9. It would help if we could get similar results on the beta server and I could then start to diagnose where the inconsistent ping times are coming from. I've opened a game on twgs.classictw.com specifically for testing ping times. The ping time is set to 150 ms. If anyone can find similarly incorrect ping measurements in this game, report it and I'll work with you to track down the cause. While we're testing this, I want to test another new feature, TWGS game passwords. I've provided a password to enter this game. The password is "pingtest".
