Hi, Sounds like the Revscripts work like a charm for some and are broken for others. Count me in with the broken folk. I'm not clear on what I'm doing wrong because there's no documentation, on his website or in the package [that I got]. I tried it on Zoc v.6, v.5, and v.4. _setup will work online and on my test server (I don't think the connection affects that one script.) I can get _pairtrade to work on my local test server, but several other's I can't get to fire, such as _ztm, _bot, etc. But nothing at all works online. I'm using an SSH login for this particular game, though I don't understand why that should affect Zoc scripts. Just curious if anyone has insight on that. Does the SSH login affect it, is it user error? Do most people load it up with Zoc and it just works? Help me out... ~T |

all the rev scripts should work in zoc 4.x and i think i actually fixed them to work in zoc 5.x, but don't hold me to it. i've definitely never used them in zoc 6.x. also, they may not have aged well if JP has made changes to in-game text cues or commands. not sure what to say. ssh should be transparent to the scripts unless there is some interaction with logging in using the _login script, but i doubt it. you may be suffering from a missing config file that is generated by the _login.zrx script. _pairtrade doesn't need it but _ztm and _bot do. it's been so long since i played that i'm not really sure i recall exactly what to fix. |
