I was in a game a SysOp was told that someone got their account hacked.
I went to my server to check , there is a setting in Tedit screen H , ]
to set players must use password (Y/N)

Mine was set to Yes
but seems you can still look at User database and find No Password Set

So to help this player in his mission I wrote a script last night.
First make a database in TWX only fill in :
DataBase name
Server Address
Port
and might as well make it 30k sectors for compatibility.

Leave the login unchecked , game letter , your handle , password and game letter all blank.

Then you can test for no password players at a server.
Use at your own risk .. you could get banned for such a script.
But it only leaves a trail in logs IF it finds someone.

It will leave a record in the syslog log. Avoid the script at all cost it will get you nothing but being banned.

That is what I said , It will leave a log IF you do find someone without a password
otherwise it will not leave a log.

This script was only to highlite a problem I and a few other SysOps have found
in the TWGS Tedit options page H option ] , Password
Where you set (Y/N) player must have password.

It seems to be broken , cause set to Yes , you can scan player
records option U , and see you may have a player with password : No Password Set

If you have people setting blank passwords, they deserve whatever they get.
