SWATH seemed to figure out MCIC just fine when I had it set up on my computer, but now that I am using my friend's it never shows. Does anyone have any idea what is going on? Thanks! |

Bah. Nobody knows how to figure out MCIC but me. Your sentence should read, "SWATH seemed to guess MCIC just fine..." I just posted to be arrogant and heckle you, not to actually be of any help. Sorry. |

Okay. I guess that I will upgrade the nearest hundred ports to 3000 and manually see who offers me the most. No problem. |

Use either EP's haggle or CK's tracker and you can get the EQ mcic w/o having to do it by hand. MCIC is pretty easy to figure out for trading %'s greater than 15%. |

The version of EP's haggle that I downloaded from NavHaz is expired. Where can I get the latest model? |

I found the 2011a version, created an account on Navhaz, and posted the archive. This is my contribution to society. |

I had figured out how to make my planetary trading script buy fuel. I had made a little script that only did that and I was going to integrate it after work, but instead my laptop was dead, so I am trying again, using script functions. Since I have some fully upgraded ports, I do not want to haggle up to one hundred and twenty-eight times per port, plus twice for organics and equipment. I set it to just spam a macro. When I tried TWXProxy froze and quickly occupied more and more memory. So, what is the smart way of doing this? |

Typically, I use bot modules for that. You can self bot, or use another corpie. "bot buy f s" Buys fuel on speed buy (macro, basically). You can then just set a trigger on the exit and the timeout and you're good. |

Here is what I use. Replace 'bot' with your bot name. #The Sell and the Buy gosub :sellBuy waitfor "anet is now in sect" send "s" waitfor "Citadel command (?=h" send "'bot neg *" waitfor "iation exiting" send "s" waitfor "Citadel command (?=h" send "bot buy f s *" |

You might want to add an * after the s incase the sector has mines. |

EP's haggle is pretty good when used in the right settings. The problem is it's not that useful for ore, since mostly ore buy is a speed thing. For years, people have used bots to do buydowns. A bot is a script that can be called over subspace, and has several scripts within it (modules). These bot modules allow this script to behave as a kind of controller script. Corpie control aside, bots are very useful for scripting. You can write one module, then call it everywhere making it easier to write complex stuff. If you want to write your own buydown, it's not too tough to do. CK's buydown source is out there, I think it's on navhaz if you want it. You can use that as a template. Or you can just use a buydown bot module w/o having to write your own. |
