Yes, 1.9.8 should fix the freeze problem that has been seen by users. You can always contact support@swath.net for support issues or reach me directly via stein@darkmoon.se /Stein |

He must have my IP blocked on his router. I've never been to swath.net before and it makes no sense to ban dynamic IPs. That's a pity, because I wanted to check it out. |

My IP, which was x.x.x.x, is in fact blocked on swath.net's router. As soon as I switched to another failover line with a x.x.x.x subnet it loaded instantly. |

I just purchased this. What garbage is this: Authentication (Primary server)... Connection failed! Authentication (Secondary server)... Connection failed! Offline mode: Limited I have to "log" myself with a swath server everytime before I can use the program functions? I dont want to check in with mommy first everytime for approval to play on a TWGS. An update that I just read in the docs: "The other situation where you want to run SWATH completly offline requires a Certificate. You can request one by sending us the current Fingerprint (see below). You will then receive a Certificate that you can enter in the License Status dialog (see Help menu). This will allow you to run SWATH offline as long as you don't alter the computer configuration too much. If you do that, you need to request a new Certificate. " The only potential problem that is, I have a couple of machines at my house and depending where I'm sitting, I will use THAT machine. I hope I'm clear enough for ya. Please email me a couple of finger prints for each of my machines and I will be happy... Thanks. A.K.A. Customer |

I dont want to check in with mommy first everytime for approval to play on a TWGS. Since I started the thread and it is already not on topic I really don't think you have a clue but I will try and help anyway. 1. His authentication servers do like like your proxie 173.X.X.X IP as previously noticed, play using your ISP assigned IP and you should not have an issue OR try using DNS servers on your router or computer 4.2.2.1 or 4.2.2.2 since your ISP might be blocking him and nothing to do with Swath.net as this is the only problem I have ever seen with connections. Try asking for help instead of coming in acting like a fool and people will go out of the way to help. I have had several minor problems over the years and Stein has always been more than willing as everyone else on this forum to assist. If you do not like the product start your own thread and bash away as mine was nothing more than an announcement about a new version..... please try the above or work with Stein direct. |
