I've seen this a few times, thought it was probably TWX, I was simply getting a port report. Mombot is NOT running.

Thanks, the sector wasn't copied purposely. ;)

the problem stems from a script not having enough wait states for your computer/ISP speed and missed the sector number before the CR check.

I'de suggest , if you can .. to add this to your script

Send "cr*q"
WaitOn "] ("

That way it will see currentsector number before it sees the port data.
It will eliminate that problem.

Next time just change the number please. Drama doesn't help solve your problem.

No sector number (edited by you)

Zero sector error......See the issue here?

It appears to be an issue with TWX, but you've not provided enough info for me to do any troubleshooting. I've never seen that error personally. How about the rest of you?

If I do a bunch of CR[sector]* by hand I can get it to happen.

There was no script, I manually typed C, R. XXXX and hit the enter key. I wanted the report on this one port.

What drama? It's a sector in a current game I'm playing. I did NOT use a script, I typed this manually to get a port report on one sector.

I've seen this happen if your Recording Data button is checked and your universe in your TWX database is set to a number like say 10000 sectors and you "see" sector 10001 then i get this error so she probably had the wrong database open maybe??? I woyld check that first. This would happen to me between games on the same server. I would forget to change database's and the total sectors in universe would be wrong.

Hiding a Port number is drama...Believe it or not no one cares where your port is.

Now on to the problem.

Was there a display glitch in the game....
DId twx crash right away......
Did u save the whole section in a log.
If So send the whole log section to EP.
If u remember did u type cr*q or cr**q?
Which version of TWX are u running?
What operating system are u running and if Windows7 are u using the new TWX for it?

No, but now that you mention it, it does crash every time I close the program.

I just sent EP the whole log from that day.

I’m presuming * = Enter
I typed crXXXX*
Don’t recall the port number off hand.

204

Win XP

I’ve seen this a few times, always on a manually entered port report. Running Zoc 6.2 and it locks up the display and I have to make Zoc active again by mouse clicking on the title bar, or Alt-tab, then Quit to get back to the computer prompt.
