The text speed is working great, I never pay much attention to the MCIC so I will let others speak on that. But so far I like what I am seeing, thanks for the hard work!

Not seeing any difference with either the box checked and set at 15000 or unchecked and left at 0. Maybe it is the TWGS speed or my computer since it is about 4 years old running xp pro with only 2 gigs memory.

Well this one is 5 years old with 500 meg of ram and a single core processor and XP home and it works great for me. You seem to always have Swath issues Prom. Try a reinstall of JAva.

Might have to do that on Java, because something isn't right with SWATH on this system. I had the previous version drop out all my triggers and macros a couple of days ago after I had closed SWATH out normally. That has happened in the past also. I know Java did an update a few days ago, but maybe removing it and a new install might correct whatever.

Oh, and I really haven't always had SWATH issues with the exception of the trigger/macro loss a couple of times until I upgraded from 1.8.3.

Verify Java is pointing to the right place a few years ago the changed the install directory and if you pointing to the old one that could be causing the issue.
JVM is
c:\Program Files\JAVA\jre6

Java root directory
C:\Program Files\SWATH 1.9.7

I know Prom you mentioned it a few dozen times now. But as my whole corp uses Swath with very few issues I can assume something has changed on your end. When I moved to a different machine I had some strange issues (also with a browser and Java content) but I reinstalled Java to its default directory and have not had a burp since. So try that and I am sure you will be happy.

Swath/Preferences/misc. has a check mark box at bottom of the page for
the buffering , you check the box and it inputs 15000 , but it can be reduced to as low
as 2000 or as high as 99999.

To get results similar to the last release just set the value to 8000 .

SWATH stores all triggers and macros together with the general preferences in the SWATH.cfg file stores in "C:\ProgramData\SWATH" on Windows 7 and Vista or "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SWATH" on older Windows versions. There you can also find a SWATH.cf_ file that is a backup of the old settings. Backup these files together with your game files if you want to make sure you don't loose anything.

Java is not used in SWATH itself, but for Java scripting. Could be a good thing to update that anyway.

I hate to be a douchebag about this, considering I was one of the ones to ask for the screen buffering to be an option, HOWEVER, i have noticed an occasional issue with this latest release.

When I run a script such as strip or move, SWATH cuts off and MOM/Script never echos that it is done. I notice the screen has stopped scrolling then I <Enter> to redisplay. I get something like this:

Landing sequence engaged...
Planet command (?=help) [D] T
<Take/Leave Products>

Display planet? No
(L)eave or (T)ake Product? [T] L
Which product are you leaving?

(1)Ore, (2)Org or (3)Equipment ? 3
How many holds of Equipment do you want to leave ([200] on board) ?
You unload the Equipment from your ship.
Planet command (?=help) [D] Q

Command [TL=10:36:50]:[5565] (?=Help)? : L
<Preparing ship to land on planet surface>

Land on which planet <Q to abort> ? 175
Landing sequence engaged...
Planet command (?=help) [D] T
<Take/Leave Products>

Display planet? No
(L)eave or (T

Planet #175 in sector 5565: Plimpton
Class A-UFJ, Adamantium Mine
Created by: T.R. Edwards
Claimed by: The Slave Emporium [3]

You'll notice the last Display planet prompt is cut off. This is where I waited a few seconds then redisplayed. Hence the planet info.

This has happened more than once on 1.9.7. Usually when I am running a tedious task many times ala move or strip.

I have never had this problem with 1.9.5.

My question is do I need to enable buffering and adjust it to get 1.9.7 to behave as 1.9.5? With 1.9.5 the screen wouldn't hiccup (in my eyes) as it does with 1.9.6 but it would also not scroll too fast to where MOM and scripts couldn't keep up.

EDIT: I have tried this on more than one game/server. Same results.

Adjust the speed in the box until u see the results you want.

Some of this is dependent on your machine...this is why he added the adjustment

1.9.7 is supposed to work like 1.9.5 if you don't turn on high text speed handling, so I have to investigate this and get back.

Thanks guys. Someone else mentioned it could be any number of things, twx, mom, the scripts themselves. I'm gonna try different combinations to see if I can isolate the issue.
