ZTMfast isn't very accurate. Either use CK's or Prome's ztm, they're both public.

Thank you Sing, I'll find those another day.

But, this is part of the frustration and why the learning curve is so high just to play a simple game. TWHelper, I understood the ZTM, and it had nice maps to boot!

Now I go through all sorts of trouble to get TWX and Mombot, then the "right" mombot and try to learn, this thing need a 3 inch deep manual, I swear! Now you tell me I need to get the "right" ZTM script.

Please don't make me call SG again! My ears are still ringing from the last conversation! LOL

It's not that bad. Just use the search option at the top.

There are sites full of this information. I know, I run one. At the top, between "FAQ"
and "MEMBERS" there's a search feature. If you go there and type "ZTM" then select
"Scripts and helpers" and search, then go thru the first few pages... you'll find a lot of
information.

The mombot ZTM is a bit broken in places. I've got a fixed version out there somewhere
tho.

OK, to confuse matters even worse, SG told me to use the FastZTM in TWX.

I have two mombots, haven't looked or began to search what scripts are in those yet. About all I've done is a mow, ptorp a, and surround. Oh yeah, and the older one does have nego to planet negociate but the new one does not.

Arggg....

That is reason enough not to use FastZTM. Merge the 2 copies of mombot.... over write the older with the newer.

OK, how do I do this? I just tried renaming the file but it would not merge.

_ck_ztm

works great for me , but mine is slightly mod'd so when it finishes it goes back to the command prompt.
And I never have to tell it to do the 6 pass , its set to do that also.

That is all.

And if I want to mix it up , I'll use Pro ztm because I can do ztm in interrogation mode.
Nice when I like to hide on a port to do the ztm.

my 2¢

Interesting I never really considered doing it that way, thanks for the tip.
