I am getting a "Authentication (Primary server)... Error!" when I try to connect to any game. A dialog box pops up and says "Transmission Error" I have reinstalled, connected to the License server with no problem when I used the registration tool after the install. I am using 1.9.4. I was using 1.9.5 when the problem started, 1.9.5 doesn't give any error, it just closes. (normal send the error to you guys dialog) H |

There is a 1.9.5? The site still says 1.9.4 - is this 1.9.5 a pre-release to use with TWGS beta? |

rgorion wrote: There is a 1.9.5? The site still says 1.9.4 - is this 1.9.5 a pre-release to use with TWGS beta? I completely removed SWATH (including registration info) and reinstalled 1.9.4 and connected to the license server with my registration info. Then when I try to connect to any game, I still get the error. I did use the same SWATH.cfg file (it has all the script menu and macros in it) I will delete that as well and see what happens. H Edit: Its not the SWATH.cfg file, I deleted the SWATH directory from "Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data" directory and still rec'd the same error. When I removed SWATH, I ran the uninstaller, deleted the SWATH Directory, and the registry entries and rebooted then reinstalled SWATH 1.9.4, registered it successfully using the registration tool. I even added SWATH.exe to the Windows Firewall exceptions list. |

It added ability for 30K sectors, some other fixes and a few enhancements. My understanding was it should be out in a week or 2 but that may change depending on what JP is working on. |

Swath 1.9.5 has not been released but soon will .. pending the web site fix. It has passed all the testing for this release. I am starting testing for 1.9.6 now. The .cfg file contains only macro's and triggers and need not be removed. Helix , next time you want a beta release , I'de suggest you join up with me or the beta testers. You were left out of he loop and now will have to get your issue on registration worked out , just to play again. I'll let Stein know later today when he is back online for updates on my next bit of testing. Till then , use zoc and good luck. |

While I was typing up everything in the last post, I tried one more time and now its working. I have been in touch with Stein in an email thread so maybe he fixed the issue. It turns out that if you update your SWATH, you should re-register using the reg tool, even if SWATH says your copy is already registered. Weird. VK, read the thread a little closer. There is no 'registration error' |

The whole site is down at the moment and I am trying to get hold of Macahan since he runs the servers in the US. I also fixed the offline mode, it should not be Limited any more. You shall have full access for 15 days now. Just try again. /Stein |

I'Ve never used Swath so this seems odd to me. Tell me why a piece of software must be in contact with the author's server in order to work? My only experience with helpers was Twar and TWHelper, both stand alone programs. |

My only experience with helpers was Twar and TWHelper, both stand alone programs. It is the method they chose when developing SWATH to keep it from being used without registration. It rarely happens but as with anything sometimes servers go down. 1 maybe 2 days a year. |
