2 possibilities:

1: You have a ram chip that is starting to go bad - there are free ram testing programs out there.

2: There is another program or background process that is trying to use the same dll file or possibly the same memory address as twxsync - if this is the case it will be tough to troubleshoot.

Have you installed any new software recently or upgraded any system device drivers?

Memory at 0x0000000 ?? That's not exactly a valid memory address ;).

An instruction at 0x10001df7 (memory address of the instruction) made a call to a memory address that doesn't exist. That's a software problem within twxsync, or something else that's causing twxsync to be unable to access it's normal memory space.

First thing I'd do is kill all non-crucial processes (firewalls, anti-vir, etc). Then I'd look at the OS. Then I'd look at twxsync and see if you can replicate the problem on other systems.

Are you using SWATH or ATTAC? In either case, i would create a export your TWX data, then create a new game file, configure it properly and then reimport your TWX data.

If it still doesnt work, then in your TWXServer, recreate the game. Each person connected to the server should then run CIM to populate the TWXSync database.

This is caused by one of two things. Either SWATH database has corrupted data that is being passed to the server and the server is crashing. Or the server received a corrected piece of data that it cant handle.

A corrupted piece of data refers to an incorrected parsed value such as a sector that is greater than the max size allowed.

Thanks,
earth.

Earth sounds like he knows what's up here, but in case all else fails... one more thought and just taking a wild shot in the dark - is to check that your windows paging file is not full or nearly full.

Right Click "My Computer" and goto Properties, then Advanced > Perfomance area click "Settings" button > Advanced Tab > Virtual Memory setion click "Change" button to see greater detail of paging file setup.

The error occurs when trying to create a game, with the server empty. By the time I create the game name, enter the number of sectors, (between there and filling the password) it crashes.
