How do most people kill gridders after photoning? I've tried a lot of foton scripts, but I can't seem to find one that automatically kills after. Other people seem to foton and then hkill or enter/call right away... are they using any public script to do that? I guess I could try writing a script that will trigger on the appropriate messages, but I'm not eager to re-invent the wheel, and I'm sure it would take me a while since I haven't scripted any triggers before. So I've been triggering manually with a hotkey, but that seems far less than ideal. |

I've got a public holokill script. Most people that run them make it themselves, as there's things to know before doing it. You could combine my torper and holokiller to get the desired result if you want. In a competitive game tho this will get you killed. |

You should determine what the gridder is doing b4 you decide on any course of action: Planet Gridding vs 2-Ship Gridding vs Normal Twarp & Hit Adjacent Gridding vs Surrounds. Also consider the Edit you're playing. It's very difficult to stop someone with a Photon in a Unlim, even if you do get a hit.. they can get turns back and cotninue gridding with little interuption. Too many players rely solely on Photons to stop someone from Gridding. If you're in a UNLIM and you have a decent ping try hitting the Gridded Sector without a Photon. If you can trap the Target with your IG, and get a Fig down... he'll be toast. But every situation calls for a different approach.. knowing what to do comes with time and experience. |
