Hey I am totally new at mombot, been using it about 2 weeks, like it alot. Its just i don't think the help files are a bit confusing to me. Anyway, in the main screen of MOM there are hotkeys such as TAB-C and things like that, then the whole half is blank with undefined ones. I was wondering how I could define those. I'm sure I'll have more questions about MOM but I figured I'd start out easy |

Let's assume that you Mow to Sector 1, alot. So much that you're tired of typing: Mow 1 1 ...all the time. You can save your self some time by assigning TAB-N to that Bot command (Mow 1 1), by doing the following (with Bot running): Press TAB and then ~ (Tilde) Press > (Greaterthan), twice (You should see 'Custom Hotkey Definitions') Press Letter H (You'll be asked "What should this hotkey be set to?") Press Letter N (You'll be asked "What it the bot command to connect to this hot key") Type in: mow 1 1 ...and press enter What you see now should look something like: <H> mow 1 TAB-N <I> Custom Hotkey 2 Undefined <J> Custom Hotkey 3 Undefined .... ... . ... End result is whenever you press the key sequence: TAB ...followed by... N ...the Bot will send you off Mowing to Sector 1, droping 1 fig along the way. Of course a better exmple of a hotkey might be 'pdrop on da fm kill return' Caveate: Becareful, these 'hotkeys' fire right away. Make sure you press the correct key sequence |
