You can create all of the information files internal (ship info and planet info) to the game with the attached script provided your path is: "C:\Program Files\Epic Interactive Strategy\TWGS\Game\TW25\ANSI\" with ANSI after each dir like TWxx (you may have to manually create the dir). The script will also provide HTML and forum formatting to post game info. Well you could if the forum allowed .cts script posting. It will be posted on grimytrader.com Pics below of the in-game files.

Attachment: proGameInfo_4.cts I believe it is the one used by Vid. He made changes and updated it for which I appreciate. If you would like the source, I can post it. I don't remember if it is the one I sent to JP or not. |

H It should also create the ANSI files if the ANSI directory exists in the game directory. About line 936 you will see the routine under ":writeGameInternal" - option 5 on the menu should allow if you want to create the ANSI information or not. |

I have a feature request for future versions of this: include the base fighter production. Edit: and the citadel interest rate. |

Yeah, that's lovely. Is JP still thinking of integrating this into the game? |

Mongoose wrote: Yeah, that's lovely. Is JP still thinking of integrating this into the game? Take a look at any of the games on my v2xx server (probably vid's as well) telnet://helixtw.podzone.org:5223 Its a matter if importing a twa file into the v2.x TWGS, running Vid's Updated SO ProMakeAnsi Script which creates the files and puts them into the Games ANSI directory then when you export that TWA file, it includes the new files in games ANSI directory inside the TWA file. And when you import that new twa file, the ship and planet files are already there. JP may want to update his basic twa file included with the EIS install to use this new format so people can see it from the start H |
