Description: (Compiled) ScoreKeeper is a SysOp script to run for their TWGS. It will provide the following features to SysOps: * Allows SysOp to run score scripts on selected games they run. Will post in HTML format for their website. * Allows SysOps to run a TWGS Online Activity script. Will post HTML file on their site for players to see who is online. * Provides a status window showing the SysOp current settings. SysOp can access menu and make changes, such as the timer or games to run scores on. * Saves settings in the \data directory in case the SysOp has to restart the script. When they load settings, it will load all settings which will save the SysOp time to retype everything. They only have to select the game letter(s) to run scores on and then run the script. There is a text file with install instructions in the archive. Release Notes: The initial ScoreKeeper was written in Visual Basic and ran in an application using ZOC and TWXProxy, sending keystrokes when needed. It is a full developed application that performs all our tasks for the site and our TWGS without my intervention. We have taken our application and rewritten it in TWXProxy, providing the key functions that will benefit other SysOps. |

Thrawn, Any idea why the status window would look like this? All of the settings seem to be correct after loading the settings but it still shows '0' in the status window. See the attachment Helix

Not too sure Helix. I've run it on two different machines for the last few weeks with no issues like that. I'll take a look at the uncompiled code again and see if there is something I missed. There should be some txt files with different information in the \twxproxy\data directory. One is for the site, one is for the path to scores, one for the path and filename of the online html, one for timezone, one for timer, one for games. When you set your settings, is it writing to the \data directory? |

When it runs, it creates 3 files in my twxproxy folder, 2 for game A and 0, all of the games are read becasue the files have data from the last game 'I' What game ;etter am I supposed to put into the twx database on the server page?

Thrawn, Is this the same program you use to re-bang games on your site that are completed? Seems I remember you had something to do that all hands off. I know it's not in this version, but wondered if it was a version of this program. |

I know it's not in this version, but wondered if it was a version of this program. Since TWGS had no options to rebang via script when we started, I wrote an application that automated our site which performed the following: rebang completed games, pulled scores, forum posts, and more. This script is a section of that application. |

There should be 6 text files in total when you have all settings entered and you start. I'll be working on it today to see if I can reproduce your errors or anything close to it. Here are my screens:

I have all six of those files in my data directory. I am going to kill the database and create it. One question, what game letter goes in the Game section of the server page under login? Helix

Helix No letter goes in that spot. I missed that in my docs. Just the Login Name and Password for the account. |

Thrawn, Just a suggestion, with sysbot, I created a subdirectory for it to throw all of its files. It might be useful to do something like that for scorekeeper in order to easily find and modify the files if need be. |
