First of all Happy Holidays and I hope every one is in good health. Now on to my problem. I am used to a Black Screen with ansi colors in swath. I have upgraded to Swath 1.9.4 my screen is gray without any ansi colors just a bunch jibberish innertwined with ASCII characters. BTW the gray is my default background color in windows. How do I get this back? Now both Swath 1.8.3 and 1.9.4 are fubared in the main window but the Coms windows are still the default Black w/ ANSI colors/codes. Does anyone else have any suggestions as to what the he** happened and what I could do to fix it. |

Being a 'puter idiot, I cant help with that... However, after the hoops I had to jump through last time I upgraded SWATH, I opted out of this upgrade. Now I am glad that I made that decision. |

Just a guess here , copy your swath cfg to a safe place . The uninstall swath. reboot , and re-install ... I'm not 100 % but I think this should do the trick. If not , please contact stein@swath.net as will I. I'll post findings here as well. |

Sounds like you turned on the JAWS mode by accident. You can turn it off in the Help menu. |
