No matter what I try I can't get get java to load. I get the message: (Java Disabled: Init failed.) Any ideas how i can get it working? |

Do you have more than one version of java loaded? If so you need to select one of them in Edit -> Pref -> Scripts -> Page 1 Cerne |

I even set it up the same as the last version of swath and it still don't load. ( It still works in the other version of swath.) |

DF I just pointed my new version of swath to the old installed verion under the Swath 1.8.3 and left it run from there since I was not uninstalling the previous version. here is what mine is C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_03 third line (java root directory) C:\Program Files\SWATH 1.8.3\Java |

The ones i have were 1.5.0_10 and older. I downloaded 1.6.0_07 and it worked like a charm. Thanks for the help you guys. |

The problems with some Java runtimes have now been resolved in the new version 1.9.4 just released. Part of the problem had to do with this bug report: http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bu ... id=6509291 Some other news in 1.9.4: - Added support for special strings in macros - Added Planet Warp and Ship Transport to map context menu - Fixed scroll issues in communication window /Stein |
