 New grid script available for download PathGridder.ts
I'm releasing my path grid script to the public in .zip format. It will grid unexplored sectors or can use a data file. It grids in a sector to sector method, and if M()M bot is loaded it will surround and call saveme if needed. It keeps track of turns and ship fighters and will shut down if a user defined level is reached. It will avoid sectors that have a density higher than a user defined amount, report over sub space, then proceed to the next target. Note: Unexplored sectors will be gridded in sequential order, so if surround is not used, it can be easily tracked with a pdrop script. If a file is used, make sure you randomize the data first. I fixed a couple of bugs thanks to a few bug reports. I've uploaded the new revision as the same file name and the same link will work for download as in the first post. Just click on the link and replace the old script. Thanks.

looks like it tried to call saveme there at the end..it saw zero turns and thought you'd been photoned or podded.
will look into it a little more.

I see the problem. Since I rarely do unlimited games, I didn't compensate for the quick stats as being 0 turns.

OK, I have fixed a few problems with the script 1) Turns will read as 60k as a variable and will read as "Unlimited" on the status screen in unlimited games. 2) Script will not call save me at the start of the script when bot reads "N/A" 3) Script will not skip the 1st unexplored sector now. 4) Script will not lock up and require the enter key,(sector display), when starting in fed space sector.
NOTE: This script will NOT call saveme even when M()M bot is loaded because of low turns in an unlimited turn game, However it will call saveme if your figs are reduced by half between sectors in any game.
The revised version is still available thru the link in the first post.

A few approaches for all that... Check the I screen for "Unlimited" turns. If true, then turn a quickstats 0 turns into 99999 or something, otherwise keep the same. At that point if it drops it 0, callsaveme. Set triggers for materialized from the void, [Pause], powering up and ship disabled. Grab shiptype from / stats at the beginning, if your shiptype changes any then callsaveme.

Anyone that has twx programming skills feel free to edit, improve, add, and re-release this script to the public. This is no longer my script. I'm not that great with twx, I've always been a rexx/zoc man, but I just wanted all players to have a grid script they could work with in a .ts form.
