Ive been reading through some great scripts and have started a few little personal projects of my own. One of the big things that I see still used in the game is traders trying to spoof anothers script, so for us new to TWX scripting what are some spoof checks we should be adding to our scripts? Ive also looked through some open source scripts and found some great checks, what are a few checks that the seasoned writers consider a must in their scripts?

I believe there is a file called stupid ANSI tricks on tw-cabal (navhaz.com) that can give you some ideas. If you play w/o ANSI then these ideas don't do much good though.
