I'm always looking for help and accountability (and ppl who will constantly bug me) with TWX Proxy development. The app is written in Delphi, a very powerful OOP language based on Pascal, one of the few development languages that actually resembles English. There is a free version of Delphi available called Turbo Delphi Explorer, available here. Incidently, C# and Delphi share the same architect, so playing in Delphi isn't a complete waste of time. In my opinion, Visual Studio's IDE could still learn a few tricks from Delphi's. Anyway, there are a few great videos on Turbo Delphi that are worth watching for anyone who has even a mild interest in TWX Proxy development, or development of any sort really. Here is the link to the videos. It's quite impressive the type of apps that can be built in Delphi without writing a single line of code. Enjoy the vids, and as always, I'm around to help or answer questions. +EP+ |

Display port number when mouse over icon. i.e. instead of "TWX Proxy GameName" you'd have "GameName:23" (or whatever...) Handy for me cus i run more than 1 instance at a time) I've had a look at the source i got from grimy's but can't compile it due to memcheck errors. (all the options are correct for the memcheck) I cant remember the exact name, its on my laptop. if it helps i can get it. There's a lot more to it than that tho.... i'm running delphi 2007.. (do i have to use the free version?? i wouldnt have thought so) I got loadsa other ideas too... I'll save them for a rainy day lol |

Both SWATH and TWXProxy work fine on Vista. Have not had issues on the laptop running them. |

You setting the "compatibility" to Win XP? Mine runs without having to set it, but some have to and it worked. |

No failed to try that, but it's odd, I got Vista on this machine, new load, and only thing I"ve loaded is ZOC and TWX on it. But my TWX just suddenly goes non-responsive mid warp, mid steal, mid move, doesn't seem to matter. Got rather irritating, so I went back to my trusty yet overworked laptop. |

I've ran into the problem using XP with 2_worldtrade and still haven't been able to figure out the problem. I've had it happen in another script, but I found the issue there - went into an endless loop script error that only happened under certain circumstances. If the problem doesn't happen with other scripts, then check the script code. Sometimes takes a while especially when we don't comment our scripts very well. I have found several issues when explaining what the script was doing with another scripter and the problem became obvious while talking. |

Was using various scripts, and not even running scripts, I'd walk away, come back 5 minutes after nothing going, and it was locked up. I just switched to compatibility mode (both TWX and ZOC) , but not tested it much yet. |
