Hi, could anybody tell me in  normal language  (english is  not my nativ  tongue)  How this TWX works? I have tried to get it to work (using Swath  as a helper) but nothing happens.
Is is a stand-alone helper or can you bind it into swath?
I have seen a lot of scripts vor it here and there, but cant figgure out how to work them?
Is there a help.doc somewhere?
thanx all

ok... first of all... u need to create a database in twx...
if u just installed it, it will prompt u to do so... make a Name for the database where it sys name... then click new
enter ur server info for it...
ex. runawayproton.com
set port... ex 23
sectors in the game
click ok... then ok again
Next open Swath
tell it to connect to 127.0.0.1 port 23
then right click the TWX icon and tell it to connect..
If all is set right it will connect u to the server...
hope this helps... If u need more Help, just ask or ICQ me...
My ICQ is 224637396
Just make sure u tell me ur a TW player so I don't ignore u...

Go to outpost-4.com and go into the tradewars academy.
You can find videos there on how to get it to work.

If you have any further trouble setting it up contact me on Icq (259922155) or yahoo chat glennpacker1552@yahoo.com and I will walk you through it step by step.
TWX is a proxy that goes between Swath/Zoc and the Game Server.
It uses a fairly simple macro language for scripting.TWX can be set up to trigger soumd files....standard wave files...with some work a script could be set up to trigger small sound files on game messages therfore helping you get the game setup for your blind Tradewarriors.
If anyone has any thoughts for him on this issue start a new topic with your ideas.
