First: Thank you EP for the information you provided! I have posted a "ping" script on grimytrader.com that is a bit different than Ck's script. The script uses a send of 10 "pings" to get the min/max/average of the pings. Prior to sending the pings, all messages are turned off and then restored upon script completion. The reason for this script was due to alien hits and other messages coming across when I was trying to get an accurate ping. I wanted messages off and then restored. Script output: Type sub-space message [<ENTER> to send line. Blank line to end transmission] S: ping : 203 ms S: ping : 203 ms S: ping : 235 ms S: ping : 312 ms S: ping : 266 ms S: ping : 219 ms S: ping : 203 ms S: ping : 297 ms S: ping : 297 ms S: ping : 187 ms S: S: Min: 187 Max: 312 Average: 242 -- Gridding, not a job, an adventure!
