I would like to ask if anyone could create a script for TWX that would show Who's Online. Basically the script would connect and sit at the TWGS menu prompt, and would output the # to an HTML file. The only issue is could it be created so it would not time-out? So some trigger to keep it alive, and the trigger to output after say 5 mins minimum? I would like to incorporate this type of script into the TradeWars Academy site. I realize that there is one for ZOC, but on my end with the ScoreKeeper running, my ZOC tends to time out or the script hangs at 2345 each day. Since my ScoreKeeper is coded mainly around TWXProxy, I'd like to stay in the same format. |

I have a script that does that.. I use it to know when someone's comming into game so I can load up loginkilla, I call it: Pound It.. It's not spitting out data to a HTML.. but that's easy to do.. do you want to itemize players per Game? or just a straight top-down listing. also, what format/template for the html do you want/need.. (it's been many years since I've written HTML). Lone |

Take a look at the format that script does. It can be simple like that. |

Dude, WTF? Well there is Rev's and Vid's GameOp sets that they made which basically do that or similar. Also, did you forget about the one I made per your original request? I sent you PM's about it, you never had gotten back to me on anything though. |

Also, did you forget about the one I made per your original request? I sent you PM's about it, you never had gotten back to me on anything though. I am incorporating yours Rexx. I need something simple first for another project I'm on. Your's is getting incorporated in the bigger project I have planned and working on currently. The one that Vid put me on uses Perl, which at the moment I have little time for. The one I modified for ZOC and credit Rev for works, but it's hanging on my end. At first I thought it was the script, but my ScoreKeeper has an issue with ZOC and runs great with TWXProxy. I was just hoping for a simple TWXProxy script to use with what I have for now. As far as your PM, I have it, but due to emergency calls I've had, I just have had no chance to get to you one to one. I do appreciate the monitor prog, and will have it in place as soon as my time allows me. I did not mean to offend you, Vid or anyone. I'm simply working with all I can to make a good Academy site. |

Like Rev's script, we use it for one phase, a TWXProxy script for another, and yours was marked for the big project because of it's detail. As I've echoed before, I appreciate you, Rev, Vid, and all others helping to make TradeWars Academy successful. |
