I wish to make a post about our OCS Bot script we will run on the TradeWars Academy OCS server. However, before I describe it, I wish to acknowledge and thank Promethius for providing me the core to get it started. Without his help and guidance, we could not get it underway. The OCS script will be loaded on the server side. What will happen is the player can activate it and receive help when needed via SS. The Bot will give help on the dynamics of the game, as well as a few other areas of topic. Areas could include cashing, base building, or if the player needs info on what specific keys do (ex: active ship scan, etc). The concept of this is if a player's instructor is not available and they need to refer to some help, the Bot will always be available. With Promethius getting me started, I can now work on phase two of the TradeWars Academy. The idea of having a bot available for players to use for learning the dynamics will help players learn the game. I am grateful to Promethius and all the others that have helped. |
