I was talking with Zentock some time back about scripts and came up with an idea from that discussion about a possible script. Sometimes in a game I find I need to build planets in addition to those that I already have. Checking the planet that I am building for required cols and product and then moving those amounts from another planet takes a little time and effort. I am basically lazy when it comes to doing something by hand that I can write a script to do so: I am thinking about a script that will land on the planet to be upgraded, determine the amount of cols/product required for the upgrade, and then stripping that amount from another planet. Granted, most SWATH users use the built-in resource mover script after determining how much they need to move, but I really don't want to even bother with that part. Is there any interest for this type of script? |

Yes, I am VERY interested in that. An idea I have is could you expand that script to maybe determine the colo/product and pull colo's from Terra and the product from a port? What I mean is it's great you can pull from another planet, but if you run a CIM, and then do a port search, could it be made so you could enter the port sector and tell it how much to pull? I realize that is the same as the Buy/Dump of SWATH, but it was worth asking. Either way, I always find your scripts very useful. Let me know if you do the one you mention or make more. I'll always use them. |

I too would LOVE this script, and an added bonus would be as Thrawn said, if it could get from terra, or ports. (and maybe work for reds too, by twarp to adjacent and express to terra) |

Doesnt Massupgrade from script pack 2 do the above things? minus the planet popping part. If say you choose a planet.. colod upgraded.. that would be pretty cool. |

Yes , 2_MassUpGrade does the upgrading part .. but will not fetch cols from tera .. but will search for product if you tell it to. You can build off of that script if you need more options then what are there. |

What would be nice if it it would read your current personal/corp planet list and just auto upgrade all of them with one script. I use massupgrade, masscolo to do this, but have to travel to each sector, then trigger the script again. |

It sounds like what I am wanting to do has basically been done. |

2_massupgrade will not only strip from another planet but will also seek out product (ewarp, bleh) if you let it. You can turn off the seek out tho, in which case it strips what it needs from the lowest planet ID in the sector first. It won't colo from terra tho. Not as if that's difficult or anything. |

I find your scripts work well with the OCS Bot I am creating for the TradeWars Academy. If you have time to do such, great. If not, that's ok. Let me know either way. |

Masscolo will bring them from terra. That's why I use the mass colo, then the massupgrade combo. Massupgrade will move colos and product from planets within the sector and upgrade cits. It will also seek products from other sectors, but not colos. What this lacks that I would like, is the ability to travel from sector to sector between planets I own, and move products or colos to upgrade other sectors. A bonus is if it had planet warp capability so It could move a planet around to move products instead of just twarp. |

If you have a planet with Colos in the sector 2_massupgrade will place the amount of colos you need for the upgrades on that planet So you can so from and empty planet wiht no colos or anything to Citadel building. I would perfer one like your speaking of making tho. Karnaj |
