This is regarding the Navigational portion of the Document §tinger project I have been working on, I feel this page is completed and as it contains all TWGS related websites that have been categorized into what I felt their related focus mainly was. I have included hover titles (mouse over and pause) on each link. I would like to ask everybody to double check their information and credits to ensure I have gotten it correct, or if it you or somebody that has not been included should be included, referring to the ‘compliments of:’ portion of the titling. Please also insure I have your IP correct. Also if there are sites I am missing and/or that are out of date now. Some TWGS’s and PermaCorps have multiple sites, so if there are any suggestions on a better way to list them then what I came up with or if I have errors on those links please post about them as well. Also, if there are sites/TWGS’s that I have missed or failed to include. Also, each table should be listed in alpha order. Thanks in advance. View NavLinks Page * Again please Note – the expanding menu at the top will not work in browsers that do not support nested hovers, (hence, one more reason to support Firefox! [:)]) Also clicking on the links may bring up and additional window, this is do to this being actually designed as a framed page. |

Hehee, what do you use to browse EIS or any other website for that matter? A web-browser, right? Now most users default to IE because it comes setup with Windows, I am just doing my part to help those that are unaware become aware that there are much better alternatives out there, I have become a big supporter for Firefox, that is why I put it there, though if there are requests to include other browsers in that section I have no problem including them as well. Keeping in mind though that Firefox has evolved to become the web-developers standard for creating functioning web-applications, under the mantra of: “Develop it to operate in Firefox, and modify it to allow for IE degradation and compatibility.” Though, there are several other links (besides the mentioned Firefox link) that don’t really have much to do in the way of TradeWars, though are related to setting up and playing TW both on the admin and client sides in some helpful fashion. Additionally, the Document §tinger was developed to operate perfectly under Firefox and have since decided to permit IE users the ability to use it at a degraded level; originally I was not going to make exception for IE users, though decided it would not take much work to place some degrading JS within it for this purpose. Otherwise, it would have required more knowledge in JS then what I currently have to achieve the level of a functioning page that I was trying to achieve, (referring to the auto-expanding/collapsing mouseover menu system.) I originally wrote this in pure CSS which worked perfectly though was limited to only Firefox and a few other browsers, that enjoys working CSS to it’s full extent, though I then tried a JS counterpart and it worked, but was very crummy and did not like it at all, so then I went with a 50/50 version that works much better and allows for more compatibility then the CSS model afforded, stupid IE! NOTE – I did get some help from in this project with JS from outside sources and I am very thankful for their assistance in my learning, without them I would be so totally freaking lost I would have been like, well just crazier then I already am! [:I] Ok, I realize that some of that was not actually related to your question, but since I was near that issue anyway, figured I would chat about it a little. Actually, if you would like to see the current model of were I am at (well, it has not been updated in awhile and is far from complete) you can check this link out. I wanted to keep it under wraps until I had actually finished it as most of the documents have not been converted as yet, but if you would care to see where my vision with this project is at or heading to, please feel free: View the Document §tinger (uncompleted version) |

Rexx, I too support Firefox in place of IE. I also like your page. Nice work. Now if only I had a web site to set up a link to it... Guess I need to work on that. |
