Description: Gold Planet Maker V0.50 (2.04 Only) Limitations: -You need 999+ Alignment and must have a twarpable ship. -Gets hung up if planet name doesnt have a space between the type and name Features: Makes planets Restocks gen torps/atomics Stops at minimum credits Other assorted options. Release Notes: I have decided to realease this as a .ts till at which time I can work on improving it. Its fairly stable and your welcome to improve on it or whichever you decide to do. This script is as is without warranty to its safety. This is also not the best script to learn off it was my first and as such has allot of redundant code and stuff it could live without if I get time to remove the added stuff I will and repost it. |

I might do that for a script that is under development and have people willing to test. I would not want a script out with my alias on it that I know is under development and someone might get it thinking it was a completed version. The time limit would expire, but a new version would be available - hopefully an improved version. |

Yea im doing it in the wake of EP. Its a great way to make people grab the most current version which is my intention. As its a beta I'm looking for feedback on issues.Version 1.0 will more than likely NOT have a imposed time limit. Sorry for any confusion -Kaus |

Give it up folks... Rev already has an option in his helper to keep banging planets for a specific type...and NO anal retentive time limit to kill the script. [;)] (Of course TWX is another issue!) |

[;)] (Of course TWX is another issue!) I don't know much about Rev's script other than from what I saw when writing in REXX a long time ago. From what I saw, his scripts are very well written. I use a script, proPlanetCreation, that creates the specific type and also strips undesirable planets while it is at it. Granted, it is not a script for a low turns game, but then as we all know, low turns games aren't worth playing. |

Just to clarify Im looking for feedback on the script Gold Planet Maker itself not conjecture on other scripts and its realationship to it. If your uncomfortable with timed betas please dont download it as it is a beta and may not be to your taste. Please leave this thread to information related to the script itself. Thanks -Kaus |

Thanks -Kaus Don't worry too much about other scripts and what they do or don't do. Creating a script of your own to do exactly what you want it to is the important part. Some post what their script does, and when they do, if it is something I like, I try and incorporate it in what I do. Scripts are already created for most specific jobs, however improvement is usually always possible. Think of how many gridding scripts, planet busters, ptrade, ptorp, and planet drop scripts are out. Coming up with a truly original script is getting harder to do thanks to people like Rev, Wildstar, Traitor, PHX, Sing, Mind Dagger, Alexio and others. Sorry, this isn't actually thread related, but to let you know I was asked why I was creating a ZTM script when SupG's and the Rev's was out there -- the reason - because - because I wanted to see if I could do it and add some things I wanted. |

If FC is talking about the PLanet Creation on rev helper, it is limited, it won't overload the sector as it dets or pops the same planet number every time until u get the planet u want. It doesn't have all the cool stuff that Kaus put in his, but I have used rev's many of times and it is acurate and easy to use... |
