first of all alot of errors his scripts can generate are do to not using the new game option when u log on the first time... that smes to fix the Missing SD var.
but I got a new one today...
run part of the ztm...
then cimm...
everything ok...
finished ztm...
run outta turns...
run cim again...
get this error...

never seen that one b4, was wondering if me being outta turns caused it?

i wrote a pascal program (PMAP2) to create the reports and keep track of cim and fig data - that error means that PMAP2 crashed. hehe. that happens because i failed to check for certain kinds of malformed input. most of the time that means either:

1 - your fig file is corrupted (most common)
2 - your cim files are corrupted
3 - the universe is smaller than rev-helper thinks
4 - you imported data from another game that has a larger universe

to figure out what the h*ll is going on, open up your fig and cim files:

yourgame_figs.txt
yourgame.sct
yourgame_ref.sct
yourgame.prt
yourgame_ref.prt

they are all text files you can open in notepad. if you see information that looks out of place, PMAP2 is probably crashing on that.

the bad news is that i lost the source code for PMAP2.

the good news is that i about crapped my pants and frantically started plugging in old hard drives until i found a backup of the source code. digital gold yeah.
