If you're clearing all avoids why not use the getDistance function? It's much faster than a CF plot.

Actually I just rechecked it and I am only setting and then clearing the single avoid. I'm not sure why I thought I was clearing all avoids. I probably should clear all avoids prior to running any plots.

The CF plots pretty much give the shortest distance. I was thinking with getDistance (when I don't have a ZTM) that I might get bad data on the distances and the CF plot would take care of that.

send " c v 0 * y y q "

Anyway... CF plots would work if you had a bad ztm, I rarely do tho. Guess if you're in an unlim early on you might need that, dunno. getDistance uses the same algo that TW uses, it's just a lot faster because of the 500ms delay added to plots.

if getdistance has no data for a correct answer from database it returns "-1"
I use this as a branch to do plots only if i need them.
Just a thuoght.

Partial data is the problem. Even 1 warp out would be enough for getDistance to plot, even tho the plotted course would be incorrect and the hop count would be wrong (it wouldn't be the shortest distance).
