Since the cannon damage script I released for mothing a few months back helped me promptly take a day off from a game, I figured a rewrite was needed.

I no longer automatically output subspace messages on damage from cannons in the script, and instead put the messages in a TWX window so it doesn't mess with anything.

The messages can still be sent over SS by using the ~ key when you feel it is safe to do so.

Hopefully no one else had the misadventure that I did with the original version.

Actually the ~ key dates back to early Roman time. Probly first used about 56 BC or there abouts.
It's meaning orginally was used to signify that someone or something had "screwed" up real bad.
i.e. "I'm ~" or "He really ~ me!"
But apparently Promethius's useage has given new meaning to it use.

kilroy that about sums up what the script did to him and then the meaning is basically the same, cept that it was a script that done it to him, [:D], so really it is a twist on the same thing. Hehe.

Now he can go I have things working well, now do I want to hit the ~ and ~ myself again. hehe.

Well the new ZTM I am working on is ~ in the Roman sense right now.
