I'm interested in trying TWSync with a corpie. But the instructions are a little too vague for me. Especially the part that tells you to enter the Host Server name or IP. This may be a dumb question but where do you get that info if you don't know what it is? Thx in advance.

where it says the host server name or IP you put in the name of the gameserver you are playing on or its IP addy whichever it is and enter the game size and what else it asks for and it makes the settings for you to make a password for the player, but you have to have someone with a TWXSync server to use this function in either ATTAC or SWATH. If you need a TWXSync server setup let me know, I have one.

Also if the TWXSync server is hosted on another place you may have to connect to it as the host server. I think that is how it works, it has been a while since I used it. I will check when I load it up.

I'm getting errors when sending messages with ICQ at the moment. Anyways, yes, I want to set it up as the server so my corpie can connect. We want to test it and see if it's anything we want to register. Thx.

Don't use the ICQ send from the forum, use it to get my ICQ number, copy and paste it to your ICQ and get me to authorize you and you are in, no problems, earth and I are looking into the ICQ Problem on the EIS forum. I sent him a note on it. He is admin of it, and the fix may be more than a simple fix, haven't heard back, anyway just copy my ICQ and paste it to your ICQ in the add new contact and it should be okay.

Basically, you start TWXSync and run this from either your machine or your corpie's machine. You will need to know the IP address of the machine that is running TWXSync. If you need help with the IP address, you can email me or post here. Then you create a game on the TWXSync server. The instructions are online for this.

Then you start ATTAC and you need to put in the IP address of the machine (from above) and use the port that you selected when setting up TWXSync. The default port is 7777.
