Come and get it! http://www.grimytrader.com I think this is getting close to a final version. I believe I have fixxed all the bugs in it now. I am still working on the search routine and I still need to add MCIC displays (only if you have/use EP's haggle). I want the search routine to be more like one of the popular sector finders, but tailored to work with Move Helper. I hope to include things like find closest -60 or better eq ports, etc... I'm not really happy with the status/map window, but others seem to love it! I am going to leave it alone for now until twx gets fixed width fonts. FIX: M-Key Menu Single Step Path. Many improvements here. FIX: Problem with the M-Key Photon and Move. Should work better now. FIX: Problem getting voids FIX: General minor bug fixes and display issues. FIX: '-' nearfig/refresh (see below) ADD: Pressing SPACE while in PPT will abort it and go back to ACTIVE mode after you get back to the Command Prompt. ADD: X-Port support. Now when you xport to another ship while in active mode, the script recovers. ADD: Turn counter on the Active Density Scan Display. Shows your remaining turns ADD: M-Key Menu Adjacent Port Report. Does a Computer Report of current and adjacent sectors, then outputs it in a easier to read format. ADD: Added colors to the Path Display. Green = your fig, Yellow = no fig, red = known or suspected enemy fig. ADD: Ether Probe support in Active mode. Won't hang script when you fire a probe anymore, and will also build a Path from the probe. ADD: Status window in active mode. Similar to SWATH's. Work in progress. Tracks Current Sector, Turns left, and Figs reasonably well. ADD: Map window in active mode. Similar to SWATH's. Only Adj sectors. Work in progress ADD: Menu Item: 'Use Status and Map Windows (y/n)' ADD: Menu Item: 'PPT Style' ADD: Menu Item: 'PPT Stop Percent' ADD: New Search Menu, activate using the '-' key. See Search Help in the Help Menu ADD: Display Previous Search. Activate with the ' [' key. See Search Help in the Help Menu CHANGE: ' -' key now opens new search routine. Old search/refresh accessed by pressing ' -' a 2nd time. This is the new way of doing refreshes. CHANGE: Colorized the Menus and the Help sections. Feedback appreciated. Especially about the window. |

Heh, joo guys... joo are funny guys. But... the cool thing about Traitor's Move Helper is that it is a tremendous tool, but only works AT KEYS. It enables you to compete with bots to a large degree. Used the right way, you can grid by hand and be about as safe as using a grid script. And yet, every action is done manually. It's special. Wish I'd thought of it [;)] I'd have named it better [:P] +EP+ |

Thanks guys. I really appreciate the feedback. Any requests? Much of the recent adds are things that I don't even use, but I enjoy the programming challenge, and if it helps my corpies...I'll do it. |

Well... we do have a section on the website for "Helpers Programs and Scripts: under "Game Play Related" on the main page. If you want to create some of those sections and include all the helpers, i would add it to the eis forum. earth. |

If I knew more HTML, I'd volunteer. But I can bearly keep my site updated. I really don't want to have to do another site. Speaking of that page, there are a few other sites besides mine that have some really basic info about getting started. I *THINK* it was Pagan of Stardock Omega who did the following. They aren't too bad as primers go. You may want to take a look at them and contact the site owner. I keep meaning to get a hold of them too, and asking if I could mirror them, or link to them. http://www.hubtoo.com/tw/basicnav.html Anyway, you could almost put links to each of those things on that page. And then just toss a link to my site somewhere. Let me know what you think. |

This thing has more options then I know what to do with. Sadly I was happy with the FIRST version, the pre-release one...and now he's like 10 versions later and I still haven't used all of the original options. <sigh> Traitor, you my boy but WOW...when you gonna get it to serve me a glass of Coke on the rocks? Is it that hard to ask for a little love? EP nailed it on the head, this scrit is so good, so powerful, with some of these additons there is no reason why you can't grid even in hostile games. |
