There used to be a few sites where both TWX 2.02 and TWX 2.03 were available for folks to DL. Last night I did an intensive search for both of them and found that it seems there is no longer a site to refer newbs and rusties to get them even though there are several sites to get scripts. In at least one case there was a major server crash and is still rebuilding available scripts. Might it be possible for various sites to add both of those for downloads to go along with their scripts for both/either? Also another useful link to add to sites for zoc/Revhelper users is his latest addy since Coastgames has not been supporting many other links also for some time now... http://www.thereverend.org/tradewars/files.html
If you are using zoc/twx combination then I recommend using zoc 4.11 in combination as that version has minimal nagging after trial period. If anyone feels like having a copy of that version for download I will gladly send a copy. Thanks.

Thanks Slim... Just got out of chat with Xide and with his permission posted TWXProxy_203 at http://www.grimytrader.com/. Anyone may post it in their sites or pass it to others as long as it remains clean and unaltered. The old twxproxy.com site has finally expired. My recommendation is anyone making scripts supporting that platform add it to their download area and anyone producing helpers also make it available as a download...SWATH, ATTAC, JTWAT, etc....

Thanks zark and Vulcan... I think my original registered version of zoc was when both Founders Fury and Hekate both bought discount packages from authors in Germany at discount rates and passed around the savings...
think it was v4.08... Best results I have so far is v4.10 which might show as v4.11 on install. Tried UL to Grimey last night and today and for some reason it wouldn't transfer so is prob error on my end unless Grimey is not accepting zoc/attac files... Repeating earlier statement that I have been reading messages and some folks have problems using latest releases of zoc (as in 5.xx and higher) with Rev's code and also others seem to not have problems. Rev's site has the utils needed to write new code and seems that it was something developed by IBM originally... ZOC was never intended to be a TW helper but was built as a 'mini-host' (anyone remember BBS?). It is fine little program that can be easily set to connect directly modem to modem with ability to bypass the cable and major web sites if so desired.

just a simple post for any players who might want to try zoc as an alternative to swath, jtwat, attac and other helpers that are simply helpers...zoc is a fully developed telnet minihost (read BBS) and can stand alone for local direct dialups. Slim has made available a slightly older version that supports The Reverend's helper and scripts.... versions newer have probs with some of his code....zoc 4.14 also can be reinstalled as needed unless one is willing to put up with a bit of nagware...
