I have a big problem. I have no internet at home for the next 2 weeks, so I was going to script on my home server. I go to fire up swath and it cant authenticate then errors out. I know there is an offline mode but don't know how to use it. Help!!!!!!! |

That is my biggest complaint about Swath and for that matter any program that makes you connect to the Internet. To pay for a program and then not be able to use it because the Internet is down is flaky at best. It would be nice if Swath could not access the Internet for authentication, it would still access the internal 127 connect or the 192 ip addresses. You can use Zoc while you have no Internet access - who knows you might end up getting rid of Swath. |

Yes maybe it would have been better if Stein had a crypt key like Cherokee did to his scripts. then you dont need the net to run. |

Yeah it is a major pain in the backside that SWATH has to authenticate or bugs out, ATTAC doesn't have this problem =) hehe, that's why I have more than one helper. One always works somewhere. |

The best thing to do is to go to Swath's homepage, and read the faq's on it. You have to email Stien a code from your swath, and he'll send you an offline code that is good for I BELIEVE 7 days without getting autho., but it might be even longer. |

heh find an old version of Zoc....and TW Sync peeps need to work on adding Zoc too, not paying for another helper when what I use is as good if not better... |

Stein told me what to do. I have to email kin the print then blah blah. Seems like a lot of trouble to be. Might be a good idea to take that crap out next revision. Thanks for the help guys |
