Ok. another dilemma.... I am trying to learn how to put warp data into twx mainly for usage of gridders. my process that didnt work: I did complete ZTM in Swath- then did CIM then exported to TWX then used TWX to import lmao- and needless to say this didn't work. Then I did CIM and copied and pasted the CIM data to .txt file then tried to get TWX to import that file to Warp Data- I received an error cant import them the **** got corrupted I am actually not sure what the warp data is, just know it comes from ZTM and CIM- and I know I need it for certain gridders. Any suggestions? |

SWATH runs straight through TWX, so all information is captured by TWX right? You do have you're logging enabled and are sure that you have an active TWX databases for the specific game that you wish to record you're data to, right? I think '$' is used to bring up the TWX terminal menu's so as to change the specific setting's and configurations used internally by TWX. It might also be that you're TWX database(s) have been corrupted, this happens sometimes with TWX, if that is the case you will need to import them again, (I think that is what it is called, been awhile since I messed with this stuff?) TWX Scripts usually pull the needed information straight from the TWX databases and I am not sure if TWX is able to use SWATH files; in-which TWX would see what SWATH see anyways, so there would really be no need to exchange the files with one another, would there be? |

If you did the ZTM through swath while TWX was running, it should have captured all the data already. As long as RECORDING is turned on, not logging. Enabling logging makes it so that TWX keeps text file logs of everything that goes past the screen and has no effect on data captures. When you're importing data to TWX, sometimes it can get cranky about blank lines and say that a warpspec or cim is corrupt when it really isn't. You can try deleting the blank lines at the end and saving the file, then importing it again. Hope that helps. |

As RexxCrow and Psion posted, TWX would get the data, however if TWX was off or not recording, or you were trying to import a SWATH ztm I believe you will have to tweak the output file from SWATH. If you delete the lines that are not part of the ztm (including any blank ones at the end) it should import into TWX. The ZTM start will look something like this from SWATH: : 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Delete the line with the : The end will look something like: 19911 18570 19074 : ENDINTERROG Delete the blank line and the : ENDINTERROG and you should be able to import. |
