I go away for a few years, come back, and it's gone. No more reference to it anywhere. It was all that I used to use when SWATH, ATTAC, and the others were relatively new. The current gist that I'm getting is that SWATH is pretty much the helper to use (well SWATH/TWX or something like that). Is that the final word? I'm looking for a new helper to register. Is SWATH pretty much number one in most people's books? I'm sure that I've seen a thread similar to this one, so just a yes or no would be fine. ~Sis |

I'de get 3 registrations .. Swath - $26 Twxproxy - $25 and cherokee's reg codes and all his scripts [:)] - $20 - $25 for 4 names , $5 each one aftwards. Then meet lots of players and get your scripts in order. And by all means : ENJOY yourself [:)] |

Zoc/TWX - I second Slim's advice. Even though Rev's stuff might be older than most. His stuff still rocks in terms of a Solid Base to build on. Zoso |

yes, with the DrOp development team pretty much no longer caring about twars, TWXsync does look to be something worth checking out... i'm going to wait on public concencis (sp) on that (unless one of these days i decide to go and give attac/swath a good test and see if i can co-exist with a non-twx helper) heh Slim |

I like swath. Most of the time I use it and TWX. But I like the rev's scripts too so I occasionally use zoc. The comm windows with swath are handy for keeping track of conversations with your corp while you're running scripts (like SDT). You have to watch them though, sometimes it's easy to accidently say things you meant for your SS over fedcomm. |

Gemini you can set SWATH up to run the Revs scripts (although it might be faster when using ZOC). I need to get the Revs scripts to try it, I kinda liked em. |

SWATH/TWX is a very good combination. The next version will include TWXSync support. Visit http://www.swath.net today and download SWATH to get a 30 day free trial period. |

Trade Wars Assistant is free, has been around since the early '90's. Only good up to 5K sectors, unfortunately. http://home.sprintmail.com/~albingersich/TWAST23.ZIP EDIT: There are a couple issues using twassist with TWGS, it was written for MBBS. My icq is 13613573. |

I used TWAR back in the days and it seems to work with TWGS today. |

Correct...but as Kav already said try using it in any game with more than 5K sectors and it will not work! It has several features I like but you can get those when you toss off your rust and dust and move into the current millenium! |
