Hi all,

I'm trying to get back into TW and was told his pack was a definate download. I installed ZOC and TW Proxy and try using the scripts, but I get a message that says:

Script Load Error: Script File is an Incorrect version.

Happens on all of his scripts. Any ideas?

yup.....ZOC by itself is a telnet client (as in mini-host-BBS) and need to get the revhelper package as then you will get things rolling.

The reason is that you are using the TWX Proxy 2.03 beta, trying to run .cts files. Those .cts files were compiled for 2.02 and will not load in 2.03 beta, so you'll need to run the .ts files that he has included in his Source folder... if memory serves.

NOOOO. ignore FC. he is confusing you. you do NOT need revhelper to use supg script pack... sigh, bad FC.
here is your problem Esau. you are using TWX 2.03 with supg's scripts which are 2.02 compiled (aka incompatible) if you use the supg .ts scripts they will work fine. also, you can download twx 2.02 and all of the scripts will work fine. ignore Father Cajone, you do NOT need revhelper. what FC was trying to say is that in his opinion to be good, you need revhelper (zoc scripts N such). i use Zoc and TWX exclusively and i do NOT use revhelper. again, that is just my personal opinion. however, as a fact, revhelper has nothing to do with the use of supg's scripts in twx. it just happens that you downloaded the new public beta of TWX.

i hope that fixs your problem (as if you just do as FC says by getting revhelper, you still wont be able to use supg's scripts, heh)

I am having problems with SupG's scripts as well, and I have TWX 2.02 and it isn't working on mine either, so I am curious as to the problem, I think it might have got corrupted in download or something, I got it to improve on my TWX and zilch. Then again, I might have done something wrong in the install. Hard to say, I am going to uninstall and reinstall and see if it works. Unless someone has a better solution?

If you have TWX 2.02 you should be fine you need to make sure you have a directory called SupGInclude under you main script directory with all the provided include flies residing in that directory in order to run the .ts files.
When you unzip the SupG package winzip should make this directory for you and place the include files in that directory.

Got a question on the Rev Helper too. Does it work on ZOC 5.02? I have this version, and not all of Revs Rev Helper Scripts work on it! I looked for Version 4.10 but the oldest the ZOC site went back to was 4.15.

It should work on 4.15. Not sure on 5.02. If it doesn't work under 4.15, I have a copy of 4.08 that it works with just fine that I can throw up.

i got 4.14 (zoc) if that is a popular version... heh.
as for supg's stuff... is this a recent download from his recently brought back website? maybe he updated all his stuff for 2.03. i dunno. for 2.02 version http://www.twinfo.org will work.

Okay Revs Helper doesn't work on ZOC 5.02, it works on ZOC 4.15. But some stuff doesn't work quite right, which is a minor detail. I can learn the REXX Script enough to get the rest of his stuff to work, and what does work,works really well.

Slim as for SupG's stuff I got them from the new brought back web site and is a new download. But I think I know where I messed up and am correcting it. Thanks for the info and help.

I like to try new things to see what really works and what doesn't. This way I can give all a report on what is doing what it is suposed to, and am working on a few things for TW. I will post all when it is all done and I am satisfied with my results. Its just my natural curiosity.
