It would be nice to have a bit more info on what this script does:

So, and excuse me for not understanding this, does it do ptrading and then megarob from selling ports? It also calls the Saveme script if in trouble, then, right?

It would be useful to know exactly what this script can do and cannot do. I admit it looks like a great script, but I am puzzled as to exactly what it can do for me.

I did and for the past two days I am totally lost. Is it a Macro program or a Bot, I'm confused. I still do not know what it does.

Woof's corp took over our planets before we could get a corp together to defend them and come up with a plan. I would have played last night, but I got sick and threw up a few times due to my medicine and illness. The few corpies we had weren't able to get much done in the game either, like you they had other things to do. The game is over before we could start it up. So I should have some free-time now. Except I am now waaaay behind in my college studies.

its a corp bot basicly, if you guys need help let me know, i was talking to big12ozHog, because i couldnt get it to work, aprrently their was a bug in it and it took awhile to figure out what it was, but was fixed that night, if you other corp mate has a name of less then 6 chars the bot wont respond to you, but big12ozHog told me that it is fixed and updated on the site now. and yes the script works great..

Actually keep posting info online if you would (everyone keeps saying "email me" blah blah). I don't play TW anymore (only host), but I'm still very curious (it sounds cool! [:D]).

Thanks I couldn't figure it out from CK's post, the description on the web site, or the instruction manual. Clear as mud to me, might as well be written in Greek. So basically it is a Corp Bot that does things the other Corp members tell it to do? Sort of like a remote control device to trigger CK's scripts? That is all I ever asked what it did, and if that is it, then I am happy to know it. If not, someone please explain it to me again.

When I get some free-time, I will test it out with TW55 some day.

But, if you have ever used revs bot- its very similar. If not, what it does is allow you or your corpies to remote your character to do most general tasks. These include, buydowns, worst, best and speed, planet negotiates, run save me - all three of these use cherokees scripts.
The bot also allows you to remote macros, mega rob, rob, has a reloader, an adj photon, a fig finder, warning for fig hits at certain distances, a pager, and several other features.

I meant no disrespect, but one of my pet peeves is instruction manuals or descriptions that do not tell me enough about what I want to know. I need as much information as possible before I can decide on if I want to use something or not. If you included that above paragraph in the instruction manual, it may have made more sense to me, even though I never used Rev's bot or any other bot for that matter. The Instruction Manual talks about the scripts it uses, and what each macro does, but is devoid of what the bot can do for me, or even that it can be used like a remote control device. No offense but it is about as boring and complex to read as a Unix MAN page. [:P] From reading the instruction manual I got the idea that it was more of a macro program for running CK's scripts and had no idea that my corpies can remote control it. Unless I somehow missed that part, if so, it wasn't that clear to me. If so, I apologize.

look it's reallll simple.

you turn on the bot, give it a name that you want it referenced by for other corpies, and then u dont touch the thing.
so one of your corpies wants u to help him buydown some ports. he logs in to your bot via private hail. once authenticated he can use subspace to tell your bot what he wants it to do. the bot will accept commands that will initiate certain ck public scripts, provide the correct parameters, and execute the script. once the script finishes executing, control is passed back to the bot.

Diaskalos, thanks for explaining it in more simpler terms. I've always been a champion in trying to make instructions, descriptions, manuals, and other documents easier to understand and comprehend. So it makes more sense to me now.

Now here's a good question: How is this not like duping if Player A is just controlling Player B?
