Some high speed scripts such as TWX's 2_worldtrade -haggle off-, and some product moving scripts cause my computer to freeze up

i've been told its a TCP stack or buffer overrun caused by a large number of packets being sent out over a short period of time

does anyone know what i could do to resolve this?

Uhm is it your whole comp freezing up or just the telnet prog that isn't displaying what should be going on in the game? I only ask because some telnet progs can't seem to handle the overruns display-wise. try running that script or even a quick 100 times port buy down script. through your telenet prog if it stops wait for about 3-4 mins
should have caught up. then all is good, other tweaks would need to be made to make that prog work correctly.

Screw grammer i talk just fine :P

More info would be needed like what are you running twx through mem OS Vid/Grfx etc.

runnin Zoc/Twx

Check for Spyware:

http://www.safer-networking.org/ download Spybot and do an update and a scan. Spyware can freeze up systems and slow them down to a crawl. Maybe you got dozens of spyware programs recording your Internet access and it bogs them down?

Remove Kazaa, because it can cause freeze as well. Try Kazaa lite or Limewire instead. Make sure you scan for trojans and viruses too if you are sharing files.

AntiVirus:
http://www.grisoft.com/
Get AVG Free 6.0 and send them an email to get a reg code.

Trojan cleaner:
http://www.moosoft.com/products/cleaner/download/
Download a 30 day trial of The Cleaner, well worth registering. Timely
updates.

If you aren't scanning for viruses and trojans, and you run Windows, you should get these programs ASAP.
