Hi lewdpotato, I saw you mention Zmud and I remembered seeing your name over at the Zmud forum. Seemed fairly complicated and the display did some weird stuff, with each line offsetting a few spaces to the right of the one above. I liked the concept of the different triggers it had. And how does the mapping work in that one?

Im not lewdpotato, but i seen this post and <BUMP> lewds prolly got a helluva lot more stuff concerning Zmud and tradwars, heres a couple things i've done about the display etc.

View>preferences>emulation set it to character mode
set the ansi to zmud, i've had different results with the exact same settings so this one lewd would prolly know more about.

there is a trigger I use to try and control the CR setting to make the blank line disappear
the pattern is $ and the value is #GAG that will take out all blank lines cept when I do a CLV the screen or text rolls over (something about #CLR and some ansi code tradewars uses screw me up)

#sendprompt is gonna be your best friend

if your gonna make macros rehearse the macro maybe 2 lines at a time to make sure a #sendprompt is/isn't needed I always just hit the keys and with my other hand on paper wrote the letter then everytime i hit enter put a ^ or whatever to remind me that theres gonna need a carriage return,

i like to macro trade ports so an example of a button or macro would be:
~<p
#2 {#CR}
0
#2 {#CR}
#SENDPROMPT ~<
p
#4 {#CR}
this is assuming your at the xxS port with equipment in your holds and the ports are BBS>SSB
theres another macro that covers 4 different types of ports all trading org-equip, that one was fun to figure out so i'll not spoil your fun.

I haven't even tried to get the mapper to map, i seen a post in Zuggs forums about it but got a headache trying to figure it out heh. like i said Lewds' prolly got alot more he can tell ya.

I do have TWGS reg'd and if some people want/need a place to figure out all this zmud stuff to later on dominate the world I would be ok with banging a few games etc so us Zmudders can do stuff.

LEWD! wake up!
hope this helps.

I have been talking with steveh over private messeges. Im not sure why but I dont get the double spacing you guys are getting. It could be something I figured out a long time ago and just cant remember?
so, zepher do you make buttons for your ppt trading macro's?, they are handy. mostly I use buttons to turn trigger classes on and off, that way a trigger or triggers are just a click away.
also your right about the CR, another way to get around this is triggers can be set for prompt or just whats being sent from the server or both. also when making a trigger remember that a CR will automatically be placed at the end of your trigger, hope that helps.

uhmm...hate having to open another window to see the reply....sec
ok yea since way back (mixsel) i still havent been able to get a clean display of tradewars, as i see it through some other program like Zoc etc. its the blank lines and the spacing with the clear screen thing that some commands in tradewars do, messes up and writes over the current screen but doesn't clear it like Zugg says #CLR does wipes my scrollback out which sucks, i've started from base "new" file from startup wish i knew yer secret or whatever.

anyways yes when im in a turn based game i have buttons to trade quickly those 2 ports, then i have a graball cim thing that'll that CIM then calculate the closest pair based on what i put/grabbed in my CIM it's pretty buggy and I can only get sector to to reg in a stringlist with numbers, then i can look and it will tell me x hops but still pretty manual.

I have 4 buttons +1 to take a port pair, but its dependant on being at a xxS and previous Xxb or the 13 different variations, which can be broken down to 4 simple command/buttons 1 buttons asks what type then it will loop Xmanytimes depending on on @currentholds I click on the proper port pair type then it goes to town, 5-6 times in colt like vehicle for stock game. sooooo

without giving away the fun this one little 3 line'er does the most for the most combos'

~<p
#4 {#CR}
~<p
#4 {#CR}
equip in hold first starting at the xxS port,

Now after that i just made a macro/button to take the @current holds/such such is manytimes i hit the button corresponding the proper types hit it and bam 10-12 times macro, also PLEASE note after i hit Port it's a CR not a (T)rade old buddy of mine pointed out that if people are trying to blow ports under you a T will get you killed a #CR won't.
#loop {#but {button number here} {@manytimes}

@manytimes is determined by another trigger
Pattern: Fuel Ore Selling%s(%n)
Value:#VARIABLE fuelunit %1
#MATH manytimes %1/255

255 is the holds you have at the moment

hope this helps.
