 I know you can do it and have been in games where its been done but how do you do it?Is there a formula because when I try I am in a pod.Thanks for the help in advance

The way to do it is in an IC, or other big Darn ship if there are edited ones. You need a corpie with you also. Drop a planet full of fighters next to SD for supply. Attack SD, but when it fires back at you, stay at the attack prompt for the port. Have your corpie transfer more fighters to you, he can do that while your on the port. Then attack again and repeat until SD is dead. Good luck.

It could be because of way over edited ships, I have been in games where ships hold 400k fighters at 8:1 which is ridiculous, I took out all 4 special ports in that game myself in 1 day. You might be able to do it alone if you have a planet next to you to refurb fighters from. I am not sure if the port regenerates once you leave or if its like with the products and will regenerate to full strength over a period of time.
