I'm looking into this burst that I keep hearing people talk about. Functionally, it looks like a macro to me. What I am wondering is this: does it behave differently on the server side? There's some lingo on the main site for twx that talks about it being a data pack. Does this mean that a burst string won't be affected by server and line lag, and thus will be faster than a standard macro string? If not, I can't see why there's so much hype involved. Info anybody? Thanks.

The twx bursts are all sent in one packet, meaning lag won't affect the middle of the burst. While this is definately good, it isn't really unique. ZOC macros function the same way and I'm pretty sure SWATH macros do as well.

What I do like about twx burst is your ability to quickly input it. With Zoc you have to get your mouse, click here, click there, type it in, hit ok....then you decide you want to double check it out so you have to go through all those hoops again. There's probably a quicker way to get to the zoc macro screen but I haven't found where it doesnt involve using the mouse. It just much easier to hit a few key strokes to get to a burst enter prompt.
The negative is you can't save a set of macros like in zoc, it only remembers the last one you input. So, I like the combination of both. Zoc for my used a lot, repetitive macros (lay a fig, planet bust, etc.) and TWX burst for my on the fly, planet battle, unique macros.
