I keep seeing these scripts, and I haven't gotten into using them yet, because they just aren't that good. Where can I get a mega jettison script that dumps to a planet instead of into space? Where can I get a SSM or SST script that uses the psyprobe to get 5xp per sellback. Where can I get an SSM that does the same thing but goes for 4 extra XP by using 2 SSB ports, and buying ore and org for xp after the EQ is sold, AND uses the psyprobe for the 5xp? :) Can you even still DO that trick, (psyprobe for 5 since the product level never changes the 100% 5xp price never changes) All I see are just AWFUL scripts. Where is the drain planet then bust script? I've been playing in alot of games that generate product on new planets, but I cant find any scripts for dropping a planet, offloading, then poping the empty one and going again. Also, I cant find any PRACTICAL guide to use rexx or any other scripting language. I know how to program and I can make these scripts on my own if I have to, but i've been unable to find anything useful. Any links would be appreciated.

You are welcome to try ATTAC. it has a mega-jettison script that dumps to a planet. It also has SST/SSM and World Scripts, as well as, running REXX scripts.
I dont think you will find scripts that get 5 experience points per try. The port's best price flucuate as you buy/sell at that port. Most scripts do not use psychic probes; rather, they buy/sell at a percentage of the offered price. You will likely see 2 experience points gained for each buy/sell.
REXX is a very powerful language and i will be happy to answer any questions you might have that you post at this forum/or the ATTAC forum. ATTAC has an extended API to the rexx language which allows you to call functions like ATTAC_GetStardockSector or ATTAC_GetTotalSectors.
You can find that API at: http://www.tw-attac.com/rexxsupport.html
This page also includes supported ZOC Subroutines and Functions that ATTAC implements.
For basic REXX functionality, you can go to: http://rexx.hursley.ibm.com/rexx/
This is the a great reference for REXX links and one last link i have is a tutorial on how to program in REXX at: http://www.kilowattsoftware.com/tutorial/rexx/

Hope that helps.
earth.

But if you are doing an SSM the product amount never changes, and with a psy probe you can calculate 100% of best price after maybe 3 or 4 trips to the port. Thus getting 100% every time, and saving valuable haggleing time. Since you are just selling the same amount of EQ to the port as it had before, and will always have until you get busted and move on, there is no fluctuation because the ports percentage is always the same. Thanks alot for the links, I'll look deeper into ATTAC.

Well it all depends on the Helper you are using. You can find Swath at http://www.Swath.net, it uses Java for its scripts, it can also run Zoc/Rexx scripts. There is J-twat that you can find at http://www.j-twat.com. It has its own scripts, it is an open source helper so if you are a Java guru and a programming fool you can get the source code from Badboy and either modify the existing scripts to fit your needs or make your own. It also will run Rexx scripts. There is also TWX Proxy, which is actually a proxy server, not exactly a helper, you have to set your helper to connect to TWX and then connect TWX to your game. It actually works very well and is extremely fast and it has some butt kickin scripts out there for it and the scripting language isnt all that difficult to understand, compared to java that is. You can find it at http://www.twxproxy.com. As far as Rexx scripting I dont know because I have never seen a Rexx script actually WORK! Of these helpers I use Swath through TWX most of the time. It seems to give me the best of everything I need to play with. There are scripts to do Mega Dump to a planet. A few of the other scripts you mentioned I dont know that they even exist. If someone wants to empty a planet they usually use a resource mover script or a macro string and then blow up planets manually. As far as getting the 5 exp every time using the P probe, the last time I saw that possible was with the old TWHelp back in the days of a 5k sector max universe. Either nobody else has ever figured out the formulas to get it right using the P probe estimates or they are just to lazy to try for those couple extra points. It sounds like your looking for some of the old TWHelp scripting and its just not available unless someone has it in their personal stash. Keep looking tho as people are creating more scripts and updating existing ones every day.

It's fairly difficult to get 5 exp trades. It's my understanding the port price routines have changed from earlier versions. While it may be possible to make a script to do it, I'm not sure anyone has been successful in doing so. As to references for scripting languages, SWATH uses java, there should be plentiful java references. Most other scriptable helpers include a command reference that is pretty thorough. Just check the help section of the program.

If you are comfortable writing code, you might try Telix for Windows as a terminal program. It is free. You will need to download 2 files,
http://www.filelibrary.com:8080/cgi-bin ... w115d1.zip
and:
http://www.filelibrary.com:8080/cgi-bin ... w115d2.zip

It has extensive help files. Very similar to C in syntax and functions.
